On May 30, 2010 in Tacoma, Washington – Litefoot joined hundreds of others in attending the “Day of 1,000 Drums” ceremony in support of Robert Sotiacum of the Puyallup Tribe and his effort to rename Mt. Ranier in Washington State to its indigenous name of “Ti Swaq”… in honor of the people who originally lived there. Litefoot spoke to those in attendance and delivered a powerful message. While Litefoot was attending the United South and Eastern Tribes Conference in Washington D.C. – he unexpectedly ended up in the worst snowstorm in the areas history. Snow accumulations broke records and the blizzard shut the city down. Litefoot spoke twice to audiences gathered at the event and inspired and motivated those who were in attendance. Go hard or go home….There is work to do for the people and Litefoot’s doing his part! Rise people and go hard! Achieve ya dreams and reach ya goals-NO excuses! Let’s GO!

Litefoot filmed this video while in Washington D.C. attending the United South & Eastern Tribes Conference which happened to be at the same time as the February 2010 Winter snowstorm that blanketed the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. Enjoy!
