The Medicine of Prayer is a timeless book that is sure to inspire and motivate all who read it.
A respected voice in the Native community, Litefoot has visited thousands of Tribal communities throughout North America empowering Native people. In his travels over the last 20 years he has presented to nearly every Tribe in North America, delivering a message to return to Indigenous spiritual practices and philosophies, beginning with prayer.
Litefoot's message resonates strongly for many Tribal members because it is traditional practice and true Indigenous thinking at work.
Most recently, Litefoot has traveled throughout North America visiting over 500 Nations on the Reach the Rez Tour.
As he says in the Introduction:
“My relationship with the Creator through prayer has been my teacher, my guide, my comfort. It has been my medicine and my challenge. Because, let’s be honest…the ego doesn’t always want to do what the Creator asks…it is not an easy road. But it is the only road to fulfillment. The Medicine of Prayer is what heals and gives enough strength to the spirit to accomplish anything in this world.”
The book features a special Foreward by the Stoney Nakoda Tribal Nation located in Morley, Alberta Canada, includes 11 chapters and features over 50 pictures throughout its entirety.
An enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma, Litefoot constantly tours Indian Country as a popular rap artist and public speaker. Over the last 4 years he has traveled over 145,000 miles throughout the United States bringing hope and empowerment to over 350 Native American communities on the “Reach The Rez Tour.” The Medicine of Prayer is dedicated to this same purpose — that all who read it will be empowered, strengthened and motivated!
