Capturing a Legend: Litefoot Begins Filming Lyle Thompson Documentary in New York

IndigiStudio’s documentary on famed Indigenous athlete, Lyle Thompson, has officially commenced principal photography in New York, embarking on a journey to capture the essence of one of lacrosse's most iconic figures. The film’s Director, Gary “Litefoot” Davis will focus on capturing the cultural and familial ties that have shaped the man we know today. This phase of the project takes the production crew to a variety of meaningful locations, including Auburn, Syracuse, Albany, and notably, the Onondaga and Mohawk reservations. These areas hold significant value in Lyle's life and career, offering authentic backdrops to his story. Filming will also take place in Georgia and in Ontario, Canada.
